Nolla
Everyone says there will never be another Nolla….she left for the Rainbow Garden way too young, only 6 years old….I rescued her when she was 4 & she spent the next 2 years spreading much joy….my “little nut case”(all 11lbs of her) loved going to the Nursing Home to visit all her special friends….a walk in the park made her one happy dog….walkers, runners, bike riders, seniors, kids along with all dogs large & small were greeted with a tale wag hello and a look that said “lets play”…I’ll never forget the 1st time I saw her dog blanked “walk” across the room….she loved being under it, she also loved being on the couch so she decided it belonged on the couch with her! I’m sure she is enjoying her time in the Rainbow Garden chasing the birds & squirrels ….rolling in the grass & napping in the sunshine.

maverick
Maverick Bruene, a magnificent, handsome, goofy, and loving English Springer Spaniel, passed away on July 3, right before Independence Day. He was an athletic dog who enjoyed going on long runs with his family. He was, in equal measure, a cuddly dog who loved to snuggle with Linda. He was a long-time member of Power Paws and enriched the lives of so many young readers and nursing home residents. He was preceded in death by fellow spaniels, Shamus, Sailor, and Ivy, and two cats, Cecil and Ashley. He is survived by John, Linda, Adam, Julie, Jake, and his life-long companion, Fiona. His kind, gentle, and joyful spirit will live forever in his family's hearts. Farewell, dear Maverick, and enjoy running like the wind in heaven.

Mia
If I could ever say, an angel was placed into my life, to help me, with my journey with Traumatic Brain Injury, provide unconditional love, it was my sweet, Mia. Her purpose wasn't just me, it was for the greater good. Serving with Power Paws for Kids, AAT, for a decade, Mia proudly impacted the community with her warm heart, and gentle demeanor. Her legacy will carry on, in our hearts, with the countless lives she touched. It was an honor to serve, with her, in this amazing group, that forever changed my life. Mia is dearly missed, loved, and never forgotten.

Harley
Harley was my greatest teacher. We rescued him at the age of one from a family with three little kids. He was wild and untrained. He taught me that indeed a dog could be trained only through positive methods, patience and love. He brought great joy to many. May you run pain-free with all who went to before you and with a squeaker toy in your mouth. We will miss you always.
