Meet the Dogs

I’m Missy, a German shepherd mix. I was born on 1/27/14. I was rescued from the Humane Society and my family is very lucky to have me. I love going for long walks and meeting all of my friends (because I have never met a stranger!). I like to have my family throw my ball for me and then have them chase me to get it back. I am really looking forward to becoming a therapy dog.

Hi I'm Duncan, a 2 yr old black golden doodle. I love playing fetch and being outside. I also love swimming and going on long walks. I love to be pet and loved. I will make you smile and can't wait to be a therapy dog!!!

Buddy joined Power Paws for Kids in August 2022. He was born April 20, 2019, and he loves to play with people and dogs. He loves to swim and enjoys dock diving and agility classes. He will shake your hand if you ask for his paw.

Ernie is a 75 pound golden retriever born in 2014. He loves being a power paws for kids therapy dog and loves to go to obedience school. Ernie has a lot of spunk and can't wait till you come and pet him.

Violet join Power Paws in August 2022. Born in 2020, this irish goldendoodle is a silly and happy dog that loves to tug on ropes, take walks and play fetch. She is fascinated by rabbits and little frogs and often tries to catch them. Her favorite toys are her stuffed monkey and stuffed crocodile.

Aasha was born on December 3, 2021. Aasha is a Bernie Doodle that loves people, dogs and just about everything except a shower!. She loves to swim and boat rides. She is excited to meet new people.

Bodhi was born December 13, 2021 and joined Power Paws in March 2024. Bodhi loves to snuggle, take long snoozes and chasing the birds in the yard. Bodhi loves to meet new people.

Hi. My name is Misty. I was born June 18, 2011. I love to swim, play fetch, go for walks and car rides. I enjoy meeting all the different people and dogs at the power paw events. It’s fun when I make people smile.

My name is Finn. I was born 10-12-2016. I am CGC certified and enjoy competing in Obedience Trials. My favorite hobby is running around the front yard like a goof for five minutes and then laying down for the rest of the day. Having such a blast is exhausting. I love to have my ears and chest rubbed. Kids give the best pets, I cannot wait to meet all of them!

Libby joined Power Paws for Kids in August of 2022. Libby, born in 2020, is an Australian Shepherd that loves to play hide and seek with her family. She enjoys long hikes, agility class and playing with her dog puzzles. She can be a picky eater but she does like chicken, turkey and cheese. She will give you a high five and she is a big cuddler!

Santino started with Power Paws for Kids in August 2022. Born in 2018, this chocolate lab loves to go to the park. He loves to swim in the summer, go shopping and out for ice cream! His favorite snacks are carrots with peanut butter. He loves lots of attention and will reward you with kisses.

Maggie was born on May 4, 2022 and joined Power Paws for Kids in March 2024. Maggie loves long walks and steals socks if you leave them unattended. Maggie lovers to cuddle, give paw and give lots of kisses.

Bote was born on July 30, 2020 and joined Power Paws in March 2024. Bote is a third generation Power Paws Therapy dog. Bote loves going to obedience school and his favorite past time is swimming in his little lake.

I love a game of catch in the yard with my sister, Maggie. Sometimes I let her catch the ball! Together we enjoy neighborhood walks & greeting people along the way. The end of the day allows me to snuggle on the couch...me on one side of my dad and Maggie on the other. Just like bookends!

Hi, I'm Harley a 3 year old Mastiff/Lab mix. I love to play with kids and other dogs. I don't like balls much, but I love toys that squeak. I love to swim, but I have to wear a life jacket. I will let you shake my paw and hope that you will give me a little treat. I am a faithful friend and love to snuggle. I'm a big dog, but somebody forgot to tell me I'm not a lap dog.

I’m a rescued dog and now I have 2 homes! When I live with my dad, I get to chase chickens into their coop, play with sky (a pittie), and sleep with my buddy, Keegan. At mom’s, I have rules, but rules can be fun! I get to go places like libraries where I get lots of petting and meet nice people!

DeeDee started her power paws for kids career in August 2022. Born in 2015, this rough Collie is shy at first but once she gets to know you, she will take all the belly rubs you have to offer! She loves hiking and spending all day outside. She is not much of a fan of toys.

Chloe joined Power Paws in 2022. She is a Bouvier Des Flandres. She is quiet, friendly and a loyal companion. She enjoys meeting new people and making new friends. She enjoys pulling her dog cart and performing tricks. She uses her nose to find things and you will often find her sitting outside watching over her dog yard.

Kali Rose was born February 11, 2021 and joined Power Paws in March 2024. Kali Rose is a Goldendoodle that loves laying around, belly rubs and bird watching. Kali Rose goes to school with her mom and loves both kids and adults.

Ralphie was born on May 10, 2020 and is a 10 pound Chiweenie. Ralphie helped his mom in the office for 3 years. Ralphie loves parks, rides in the parks and visiting the library. Ralphie does not to get wet.

I was born November 23, 2020 and I am a very large Goldendoodle. I got my name because I am always busy. I love toys, especially squishmallows. When you come and visit I will find one to show you, and if I can't find one fast, I will resort to showing you someone's left shoe (yes, always a left shoe). I joined power paws for kids in 2024, and I am still learning the ropes.
